This circuit is suitable for any piezo pickup or contact microphone. For contact microphones, ensure you use adequate shielding. Also makes a great piezo buffer or phantom powered DI box.

I've now built several of these into hydrophones using Jules's Instructables article. Very easy to work with, super low noise and low distortion. This is a fantastic piezo buffer circuit.
